Baaack drx (Jun 15 2006, 02:05 AM)
Sorry about the downtime. What was it, 2 months? The hosted people were back earlier, but I was kinda too busy to put Hacking CulT back... But here it is. My heart is broken that I'm not back with some awesome shit, but I'm on a trip to the US. And I must say I'm enjoying it. I'll be back in July.

In other news, I started a new website. Hope you'll like it.

PS. We've got a new server. 100mbit, lots of webspace etc etc. I think it's a bit faster than the old one.

I've released a new version of my Megadrive pallet editor. Get it from the Utilities page.

- Added pallet browser.
- Added ability for user to add support for more games.
- Added copy/paste feature.
- Fixed a bug in the 512-colour menu.

The mysterious SVP. drx (Apr 08 2006, 05:53 AM)
I decided to move my lazy ass and document the SVP chip a bit. If you don't know what the hell is SVP, it's the IC that was used in Virtua Racing to improve the graphics (polygons etc.). Nobody has emulated it so far. I hope this helps.

Small Sonic 2 Guide Update StephenUK (Mar 12 2006, 01:25 PM)
I've made a small update to the Sonic 2 Hacking Guide. So far, i've just added information on editing object and character mappings, but when I get a bit more time i'll add some more.

Let me know what information you want, and i'll see if I can make that info available soon.

Hacks database - now with 100% more 1337 Gunner112k (Mar 05 2006, 01:03 AM)
Thanks to our coding ninja and webmaster drx, we now have a prettier template for our hacks database. Everything is set up neatly to fit our needs. If I left a mistake somewhere, let me know.

Thank you.

Explanation drx (Feb 13 2006, 11:57 AM)
Lack of updates recently, huh? I decided to stop being lazy and I actually made a plot (mwahahaha).

If I succeed, you'll be happy =P But the thing is, this takes all my time, so there won't be any updates soon, just some ocassional stuff.

Btw, if the other Hacking Culters weren't lazy and actually did something, you'd have your updates :P

A Columns hack drx (Feb 05 2006, 06:35 PM)
Something new. A Columns hack =P I made this on djbrayster's and Borisz' request. It's an advanced sound test, which should help music ripping. Read the readme file for details.

Help Hacking CulT! drx (Jan 29 2006, 11:58 PM)
Why don't you help Hacking CulT?

*** Edit: since PayPal works only send-only in Poland, you can't make donations (nobody did anyway)

I'll use the money mostly on the website costs and Genesis development.

Also, good news - I made a SSC compressor (which beats Sega's btw), but due to its slowness (30 seconds!), you'll have to wait for a release until I get it optimized.

SADX hack added Dude (Jan 29 2006, 10:49 PM)
I whipped up a quick hack that puts sonic in tails' speed highway in SADX, and made some SMALL modifications that make the level playable. Its wicked hard, but IS finishable.

SADX section added Dude (Jan 28 2006, 08:12 PM)
drx rang me up awhile ago and asked for me to put up some sadx stuff on his site. Not wanting to say no to someone who is badass, I decided to share what I have learned. Enjoy
